You will learn to build longer and more dynamic DJ sets, smoothly switch between different music styles, read different target audiences, handle song requests, control the energy on the dance floor, and adapt your music selection without losing your own DJ identity.

From Commercial and House Classics to Disco, R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, and music from the 60s to 90s: you will learn to make the right musical choices and bring different sounds together into one cohesive DJ set.

This DJ training is for DJs who want to go beyond just mixing tracks and want to develop into a complete all-round performer. A DJ who can step into almost any event, understand the audience, adapt their music to the situation, and take control of the dance floor.

Module 1: Advanced Transitions & DJ Techniques

Master the techniques required to create professional, fluid, and engaging DJ sets.

Improve your beatmatching, phrasing, precise volume matching, and transitions, while maintaining the energy and flow of your set.

You will learn to connect tracks with different BPMs, styles, and musical structures. We will also cover techniques for making larger tempo changes – for example, from 100 BPM to 130 BPM – without the transition feeling forced.

We will also introduce a smart cue system that allows you to prepare your tracks faster and play more controlled, smoother sets.

Learn how to switch between completely different music genres while keeping the audience engaged and controlling the energy on the dance floor.

This module gives you the technical confidence to mix anything, anywhere, anytime.

Module 2: Music Selection, All-Round Set Structure & Audience Energy

Being an all-round DJ means more than just knowing a lot of music.

You need to understand which track fits where, when it's time to change direction, and how to keep people dancing when the music style changes.

Learn how to efficiently organize your music, prepare stronger playlists, and build DJ sets with a clear flow and energy progression.

We focus on genre selection, musical compatibility, and the art of connecting different music styles. You will learn how to naturally transition from one genre to another and understand how different generations and target audiences react to certain music.

Additionally, you will learn to read the dance floor, recognize when it's time to change direction, and adapt your set without losing control.

We also cover how to professionally handle song requests and how to use a microphone naturally and confidently when the situation calls for it.

Module 3: Flexibility, Organization & Practical DJ Skills

A professional all-round DJ must be prepared for anything.

Every event, target audience, and dance floor is different. Learn to adapt your music to different generations, cultures, locations, and types of events, without losing your own DJ identity.

We optimize your Rekordbox workflow by teaching you how to efficiently organize, sort, and categorize your music. With smart playlists and efficient preparation techniques, you will find the right track at the right time faster.

We also cover situations you may encounter as a DJ in practice, such as:

• Unexpected audience reactions

• Difficult or unexpected song requests

• Adjusting the energy on the dance floor

• Technical issues

• Working with different DJ setups

• Staying calm when a performance doesn't go as planned

You are already familiar with the basics of DJing and have completed the Beginner & PRO Course before starting this training.
